Badger community, fans, parents, and athletes. Attached you will see the 2023-24 middle school basketball schedule. This has changed to where our boys and girls will be traveling together. The boys have had the same schedule the past three years as the schedule being shared. The first practice day will be 11/6 which is 2 weeks later than usual. The girls are aligned with this as well. There will not be any practices during Thanksgiving break or Christmas break, as well as no games during this time period. In the past, our B & C girls’ teams have ended in the middle of February. This year they will be ending 1-2 weeks earlier. The practices are similar to the past with middle school boys and girls having 42 practices and 15 contests. This aligns with middle school boy's football, girl's basketball, and track from past seasons. We are trying something new this year for a variety of reasons, and one of the most important ones is to align our boy’s and girl’s teams for school spirit, as well as saving on travel expenses. Our goal is to give our athletes a better overall experience. We know with any change, there are kinks, obstacles, positives, and negatives. We will continue to evaluate as we go through this transition. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Dunten. Go Badgers! Register online at bakerymca.org, by phone at 541-523-9622 or in person at our YMCA Fitness Center. Financial assistance and scholarships are available. All visitors please check in at our high school office. If you have an elementary student, and are just picking them up early, you can either call the high school office or stop in. We will call the classroom and have somebody bring your child to the elementary front doors. If you are joining your child for breakfast, or Pre-K parents dropping them off with Mrs. Nedrow, please check in at the elementary office. You will sign-in, and we will give you a visitor’s pass. Class starts at 8:00 a.m., and we want your child to their classroom by 7:55 a.m. unless they are with their Pre-K teacher. We want our campus as safe as possible, and appreciate your support.

School is starting soon and Every Day Matters! Students with regular school attendance are more likely to succeed in school and beyond. Missing just one day per month can equal 10% of the school year and adversely affect learning.
