On Monday, May 29th, the North Powder School District is closed in observance of Memorial Day. This holiday honors military personnel who have died while serving in the U.S. armed forces.

Friday School is this Friday from 8 am until noon in Mrs. Dixon's math room for 6th through 12th grade students. This is an opportunity for students to get extra support. If you would like your child to attend, please contact the office. If they are failing a class, we would like to see them here.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to help your child navigate being safe on the internet. We will have babysitting available from our National Honor Society. We hope you will mark your calendars and come learn with us. May 9th is the date, from 6:30 - 8:30 in the MPR.

We are thankful for the opportunity to have Detective Richard Wistocki visiting our school on Tuesday, May 9th. He is speaking to our middle school students at 9 a.m., our high school students at 10:30, and will be doing a parent presentation about Keeping Our Kids Cyber Safe at 6:30 p.m. in the MPR. Please check out the flyer, mark your calendar, and spread the word. This is something we all can learn from.

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 4th at 6:00 p.m. for the high school award's banquet, which will take place in the middle school gym. This year will be Hawaiian themed, so feel free to dress appropriately. Freshmen and sophomores, please bring a side dish, juniors and seniors, please bring a dessert. The school will provide plates, etc., as well as the meat and a potato dish. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate our high school students.
